Autumn Newsletter 2011
Here's the latest from The Childrens Room for Autumn 2011.
Staff changes
Jo and Natalie are doing an amazing job of running the baby room upstairs. Ghita has joined us in nursery along with Zoe on a full-time basis. Jean has taken over as nursery manager and Jo is still overall deputy in Liz’a absence. Kath is waiting to start her Montessori Diploma in the near year – so we are all pretty busy!!!
Kath and Liz have just started a two year Gerial bach Welsh course.
On September 16th Geraint Davies MP came into nursery to help celerbrate Cool Milk Day – a fun morning was has by all.
Last day of term
Last day of term in Friday 23rd December and we are back in on Wednesday 4th January – all other holiday dates for the rest of the academic year will be available before xmas.
Xmas party
The Xmas party this year is on Friday 9th December at St James Church Hall from 10.00-11.30am. All children need to be accompanied on that morning by an adult. If your child is in nursery that day and you are unable to accompany them please speak to Liz.
After the success of last years Children In Need evening we are going to do it all over again this year. Friday 18th October a cheese and wine evening will be held at the nursery. Tickets are £10 each and all ticket sales goes straight to the charity. Bring along a friend it should be fun!!!
