The Baby Room

On September 1st 2011, The Children’s Room Montessori Nursery will open its new baby facilities in two large, sunny rooms overlooking the trees of St. James Gardens. We will cater for up to nine under-two’s at any one time, maintaining an intimate, nurturing and safe environment. We have furnished the baby rooms with the latest range of specially designed Montessori baby and toddler equipment, so please feel free to call us and arrange a show round.
Across the whole nursery we now offer a variety of options to suit the individual needs of all our parents.
Morning, afternoon and all day sessions will be available from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Children who attend morning or afternoon sessions now have the option to join our increasingly popular lunch club!
Many of our children combine nursery and sessions at the Children’s Room and we are happy to offer a drop off and pick up service to assist this.
Last year, The Children’s Room gained accreditation from the Montessori Evaluation Accreditation Board (MEAB). We are the only nursery in Wales to achieve this recognition and are one of just 100 schools world-wide who have reached this standard.
We want to say a huge thank you to you and your team of fantastic ladies for the excellent care, support and nuturing that Katie and Anna have received during the last 3 years. Having spent a long time visiting local nurseries before Katie came to you, I know that what the Children's Room provides is unique in this area. It is the only place I would have ever trusted to look after our two daughters and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone. You and your team have created a happy and encouraging environment for children to play in and feel secure in. Through the Montessori approach, Katie and Anna have definitely had a valuable opportunity to develop their sense of independence and individuality. As parents, we couldn't wish for more!
